	Don Kaeding Don earned this award by displaying what it means to be a true sportsman, like this awards namesake. Always showing up to the race with a great attitude and having words of encouragement to others.

	Most Improved Driver
	Ron Hartley Ron has really improved his performance and consistancy since last season. Great job, Ron!

	Race Contest Director of the Year
	Rich Matkin (Presidents' Cup) Rich put on a great race this year, as always. Rich was prepared, and even gave out extra gifts during the race.

	Race Sponsor of the Year
	Alice Octavia Floral Shoppe Our thanks goes out to Alice Octavia Floral Shoppe for their fine efforts in support of R/C Unlimiteds racing!

	Crewman of the Year
	Bill Brandt The Season Champion gets the honor of naming the Crewman of the Year. This year, Bill Brandt was chosen for all the help he has given throughout year, to his son Dave.

	Triple Crown Award
	Don Mock Triple Crown Trophy is awarded to the driver who scores the most points in R/CU's Atomic Cup, Diamond Cup and Gold Cup races. (In 2001, the Atomic Cup replaced the Silver Cup as the opening leg of the Triple Crown.)

	High Point Champion Boat
	1984 Atlas Van Lines This award goes to the boat that scores the hightest total points for all races in a season. Owner/Driver: Don Mock Points: 22692

	Board Member of the Year
	Chet *'the jet'* Lepinski Chet not only was the Club Chairman this year, but he was the Treasurer as well. As if that wasn't enough, Chet is usually the first to volunteer for any job that most members may not be excited about doing, yet needs to be done. Thank you, Chet!

Sorry, No Photo	'Winner' of the Brian Lepinski Trash Trophy
	Dave Reiser The 'Trash' award is made up of parts from boats in the past that have been 'trashed' due to crashes. Each year a 'winner' is selected due to what has happened during that season. The 'winner' will add a piece of their boat to the perpetual trophy that helped them 'win' this not-so-coveted award.
