Saturday:
Open water until 2:00 P.M. with first 2 heats beginning at 2:30 P.M.
Open water allowed following the first 2 heats.

Sunday:
Open water until 10:00 A.M. with remaining 4 heats, consolation heats and final starting at 10:30 A.M.

Race Format:

Gold Cup and Norm Evans will be run with the Gold Cup being a winner take all final and the Norm Evans Memorial being a total points race.

All entrants are running for both titles.

There will be six preliminary heats of 5 laps.

Top six points boats make the final.

Second top 5 points boats automatically qualify for the First Consolation Race.

Third top six boats are in the Second Consolation Race.

Second Consolation Race willer moves to First Consolation Race.

First Consolation Race winner becomes trailer boat in the Final.

Gold Cup & Norm Evans Memorial Winner - Kirk Maupin
Kirk wins his 9th race this year!

Kirk Maupin came in 1st in the Gold Cup Final with his '75 Atlas Van Lines, and had the most points for the weekend of racing and therefore won the Norm Evans Memorial. However this year's Norm Evans Memorial won't count toward total race wins.
