The complexity of the New Miss Budweiser resulted in a few failures as the crew sorted the hull out. Most famous for the mile speed run on Lake Washington and the photo taken by Cary Tolmans of the BUD crash while attempting a world speed record. At over 226 MPH the Miss Budweiser blew over and was totaly destroyed . A new hull was constructed for the 1980 season learned by the 1979 mistakes.

Scale Bio:
The "Griffon" Miss Budweiser was very strong in all her heats and always a threat when she hit the water for a race with Roger and David Newton at the wheel. The '06 season was the first for her and finished up in 15th place in the points for the season.
