Bio:

Chet and Jack talk all the time by phone or e-mail. Jack sent Chet his uniform that he wore that year along with his 1979 APBA pin. Chet is "Mr. Consistency" with his model of the 1979 Miss Tri-Cities. Chet has been a board member since 1998. Board Member terms are for only 2 years, but Chet has been so invaluable to the club in fund raising that we insist that he comes back each year to reprise his role! In 2003, Chet "the jet" Lepinski was inducted into R/C Unlimiteds Hall of Fame for Outstanding Contributions to the club. This is an amazing feat for someone to do in such a short amount of time, but that just underscores how much Chet has helped this club, and how much he means to all its members! Before Chet took office as treasurer, our club was in the red... but since Chet has taken that role, he has consistently worked our club into the black. Chet spends an incredible amount of personal time dedicated to the club, going above and beyond the call of duty. From securing race sites, to consistently acquiring sponsors for our races, Chet has done our club an incredible service, and simply could not be replaced. If anyone deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, surely it is he. |
