This boat was the "backup" boat for the Circus Circus camp and Hanauer referred to it as "handling like a school bus" during the win at Seafair
in the summer of 89' |

The registration for this boat was secured in 2005 after originally planned for the "blue sides" boat of 1988 driven by John Prevost. After swapping registrations with Ron Davis I had the registration I really wanted as a life-long Muncey then Hanauer fan. The boat saw the water at Rock Island in August 08' and after much commentary from Don Mock, Rich Matkin, the Brandt's and Gary Jensen I rebuilt the sponsons over that next winter. I got to two races in 09' Granger and Marysville and hope to enter 6 or 7 races in 2010. I'm destined to be a lifer in this hobby. |
