Boat was designed and built by the Coopers and Mitch Evans in the Evansville shop. The sponsons on the hull were the first molded Jones sponsons taken off of the Thousand Trails hull. It was launched in 88 and was designated CP2 by the Coopers and raced through the 96 season. It has one race win at the 89 Columbia Cup. The hull owned all of the piston powered speed records until the CP4 hull was launched in 2002. | |

Hull was draw in 1996. Building began in 1997. It was painted in 2002 and finally ran in 2005. Its been a long project. |
