Unlimited Bio:
The current U-25 was "born" in 1990 in Jim Lucero's boat shop. It was a backup hull for the Circus Circus Racing Team, and later became the Miss Truck Gear, while part of Steve Woomer's stable in 1997. In 2001, Dr. Ken Muscatel bought the boat from Competition Specialties, and earned title sponsorship from Silver Dollar Casinos. At the end of the 2001 season, Superior Racing Team widened the boat, added a single-wing canard, and shaved off 500 pounds of weight. In 2003, the team painted the boat black, with white flames, and gave new life to the Miss Rock, with whom (as of 2005) it is still connected. |

Scale Bio:
The 2004 Silver Dollar Casinos present Miss Rock is Nelson Holmberg's third boat, and a model of the real boat he helps work with on the ABRA circuit. It is the only current model of one of Dr. Ken Muscatel's boats in the club. Nelson helps with some of the publicity for Muscatel's Superior Racing Team, and chose this boat because his company has decals on the wings. Be sure, however, to also notice the "Cougars" decals on the wings. Nelson has served on the R/CU Contest Board since 2002, and has been a member of the club since 1999. |
