Don Kaeding's Memorial page
R/C Unlimiteds extends it's thoughts and prayers to friends and family of Don Kaeding.

R/C Unlimiteds is sad to report that one of its members, Don Kaeding, passed away on the evening of May 7th, 2003, after a long, painful battle with cancer.

I had mixed emotions about the news of Don's passing. Sadness for those of us that had the opportunity to appreciate his company, and yet there was some consolation to know that he is no longer in the intense pain that he endured during his last days.

Don was a competitive individual who loved to tinker with his boats to get that extra bit of speed. - Even when they were already fast. Often coming up with new ideas to "experiment" with.

When Don, A.K.A. "Dangerous Don Kaeding", drove his speedy craft around the course, the fans are always entertained. Don will either come in the top 2 places, or wind up in trouble somewhere on the course. Don was a risk taker, and a lot of times his risks pay off. Other times, it wound him up in the boat shop for repairs.

I've been informed that this was the first and only time Don ever wore a tux... for his friend, Jeff Snell's, wedding.

Don will surely be missed. We wish Don happy boating in the afterlife.

For those of you who knew Don, and would like a place to express your feelings or comments, the following 'guest book' is for that purpose.
