R/C Unlimiteds extends it's prayers for Troy, family and friends.
We are sad to report that Troy McIntire passed away today November 5th, 2006, after complications that came up following the surgery on his achilles tendon this past Thursday.

This is truly a sad day for R/C Unlimiteds, model boaters around the country and friends and family. Troy McIntire died today from complications that came up following the surgery on his achilles tendon this past Thursday. Troy had been one of the clubs most loyal and outspoken members for nearly 25 years. His passion and knowledge of unlimited hydroplane racing was unsurpassed Troy was also a leading builder of 1/8th scale boats and accessories for racers throughout the US and Canada. Chet and Brian Lepinski and several of Troy's close friends and family were with him this morning when he passed away.
